Boxing Day Outing

Yesterday, which was boxing day, we went out for an outing! With the Alles! So it was me, Ernest, Nicholas, Carol & Felicia. We met at bugis junction at about 3pm and began our outing.
First stop- Bugis Junction. It was pretty crowded but it wasn't that bad, in my opinion. All, except myself, went to get yogurt. I didn't get it because I don't eat yogurt, haha.
After that, we proceeded to the DC heroes shop at the first level. They were looking at caps but didn't get any. That'll be the end for the first stop.
Next, we dropped by bras basah complex to visit Maggie, who's working at the Popular there. She was quite shocked to see us there because we didn't tell or inform her that we were coming, beforehand. Hence, it was a surprise.
Third stop! We went to Iluma which was in that area. Carol, Nicholas, and Felicia went to play LAN at the fifth storey. However, Ernest & myself, the least interested ones, decided to give it a miss. Hence we went to walk around iluma. But after only 15 mins, we had already finished walking around the place. Hence we decided to stop at Coffee Bean and have something while waiting for them. When we had finished our coffee & the cake, it was only 6.10. Therefore, we decided to go up to the LAN shop to look for them. They seemed to be enjoying themselves while Ernest & myself were just watching from the sidelines.
After they finished playing, we went to have dinner. The dinner was kinda the highlight of the outing. Guess where we went? We went to Geylang! No, not for THAT(I know what you're thinking), but to have the nice nice frog porridge, hah. Oh, and I used foursquare and scanned for places, and we found 'Geylang Prostitute Den', hah. Not long after, the food arrived. We ordered chilli stingray, frog porridge, egg omelettes and clams. It was AWESOME. However, good things always comes with a price, it cost 60 dollars in total. So it was 12 per person. Luckily I had enough. Overall, it was great..
Find stop, we stopped by the Mr Bean at Kallang MRT to get some soy bean drinks & icecream. After getting em, we then walked to the bus stop nearby to take bus 7 back to Clementi. On the way back, we were talking about different things. However, there seemed to be a rift between Nicholas and Ernest, which I didn't understand why. Oh wells. Okay, I shall end my post here.

Christmas Part Two

Okay, now my Part 2 of Christmas day. After the party at AGM’s place, we decided to go to the airport to pick up Nicholas. So we cabbed there from AGM’s place. We had to wait for a lil while cause it’s really raining very heavily outside. We got a cab in her condo itself. So, we boarded it. We were happy at first, bit things were about to change. Because the max passengers limit is 4, but we had five, so it was kinda illegal. The uncle allowed us to board his cab tho. However, carol had to like crouch down so that she wouldn’t be caught. At the beginning, the driver was very friendly, and even joked with us & told us it’s his birthday. We then wished him happy birthday. Soon after, we reached our destination, the airport. When we got down & paid for the cab fare, the driver then asked.’Aren’t you gonna pay me a bit extra for the risk I’ve took?’ We were stunned for a second and asked him if he was joking. But no, he wasn’t! It’s just ridiculous, paying five bucks just because of an extra passenger?! Well I thought maybe 2 or 3 bucks would still be reasonable. But five bucks?! Unreasonable! Oh well, it’s over now. It shouldn’t affect us since it was Christmas & we should be happy.. Okay after picking nick up, we went to have supper. After supper, we took the train home. We managed to catch the last train home, after some running, hah. Alright, I’ll end my post here. P.S. Taxi drivers, we’re not on earth so that you can extort money from us.

Christmas Part One

Okay, the Christmas party at Adrienne’s house was kinda great. It’s nice knowing that you’ve got friends around, caring for you and not let you feel left out. However, the mood amongst the Alles yesterday was kinda dampened because of Durga’s Mr K. Brief intro of him, simply, because D likes him. What happened was that he’s already been missing for three days and there isn’t any news bout him or whatsoever. Hence, D was very worried bout him. However, we managed to change this by doing things that allowed her to enjoy herself, and she started to have fun and even began smiling & laughing! I’m glad that she’s cheered up. Okay, that’s the end of the ‘Part 1’ post of my Christmas. Part 2 will come shortly.
